With deep roots in Miami, Casey Piket developed an interest in researching, writing, and podcasting about Miami’s history. He started the Miami-History blog in 2012 and maintains several social media sites to share and engage those interested in Miami’s and South Florida’s history. Piket co-founded the Miami History Podcast with Dr. Paul S. George in 2018.
For this month’s Touch of the Tower tour, Piket will lead guests who have have museum admission through the Freedom Tower, highlighting poignant moments of Miami history.
